You can suggest your own option to be added to this list. Any comments are welcome!

I think i posted it before somewhere, but...

We are continually testing with Rancom, and it would be very very nice if we could edit the speed dial list of hour TDA-30 and TDA-200 PBX's

We have several PBX in use, and each PBX has almost all speed dial's in use (close to 1000) and in our TDA-200 we have multiple tenants in use, so there we overall have more than 2000 numbers in there.

Now we have to insert/update/delete them manually using the KX-TDA Maintenance Console software. And this is not really user friendly. It would be great if we could do this thru Rancom. :D

Well... it is just a suggestion... i guess not a lot of people would use rancom in this way, but who knows.... hope to see it in a future release.

I think this feature would be more usefull if it is implemented in Rander client:
1. change system speed dial entries
2. assign system speed dial entries to the buttons in button tab

i think that this features in rancom would not be so in great demand

i agree that this probably will not be in such a great demand :-)

And i think that adding options in rander client to edit system speed dial entries, and maybe also edit the flexible keys on the panasonic system phones (like the KX-T7633 and KX-7636 we use) would be very nice.

And if these options are implemented in the rander client, i imagine implementing some functions in rancom to also make this possible would not be a very complex thing to do :-)

Please explain how would you use this functionality in RanCom. Is implementing it in RanCom a better option for you than in Rander client?

as you might know, we use rancom to dial our personnel and clients directly from our own business application.
In this application we also have all the address and telephone information of all personnel and clients. It would be great that if we update or insert a phone number in our application it would insert or update the corresponding speed dial in the PBX also. so everything is kept up-to-date.

right now we have to edit all the speed dials by hand using the KX-TDA Maintenance Console software which is quite a job, especially since we have a couple of PBX to maintain.

Custom Ringtones

Postby tarzan » Wed Apr 30, 2008 7:56 pm

What I would like to see, is a way of having WAVE files or MP3 or whatever play when someone rings in.

If this was made, everyone could have their phones with the ANNOYING RING RING tone silenced, and have their computers running RANDER to ring when someone calls in.

I did that in a ACCESS application but would be nice to have it in RANDER directly, without the need for spearate application running RANCOM for ringing.... :)

View Call Queues

Postby BruceH » Sun May 25, 2008 6:22 pm

Would it be possible for Rander to monitor incoming call queues?

number of calls waiting?
Calls lost?
Average time to answer?

That kind of thing.
